Provide is looking for a Senior Business Data Analyst to partner with Leadership to identify, prioritize, track, and execute strategic initiatives within the organization. The role will focus on developing reporting, analytics, metrics, and key performance indicators, providing in-depth analysis and recommendations to improve performance and support business growth, and helping the team understand all quantitative aspects of the business by delivering key insights through data visualization and analysis.
Requirements
- Expert-level SQL proficiency
- Expert-level Tableau proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into solutions utilizing a customer-friendly approach
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Analyze data to make proactive recommendations and solutions that enhance department performance
- Write complex SQL queries against a variety of data sources
- Build data visualizations using Tableau to enable the business to more easily explore data
- Become an expert on data, and work closely with Engineering to improve the data models
- Document, evaluate, and improve design of reports and processes to ensure that analytical tools evolve as the business changes
- Develop trend analyses and other quantitative reports to determine business trends
- Develop analytical models to identify data patterns

- Partner with Leadership to identify, prioritize, track, and execute strategic initiatives within the organization.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple departments to provide required analytics and insights needed to support the business needs
- Partner with leaders to further analyze data and develop recommendations for improvement
- Understand and lead peers in the identification of key business factors (both internal and external) that impact the business
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base to keep current on existing and emerging issues; apply this knowledge to assist business managers in growing their business
- Develop recommendations and action plans to support growth and eliminate or mitigate observed risks
- Manage data sources that support incentive plan administration
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth through feedback, coaching, and peer leadership
