Verizon's Digital Marketing & Base Management organization needs to improve business intelligence, strategic targeting, and opportunity conversion optimization by enabling information that guides customer personalization strategies and decision making across all lines of business, ensuring the right opportunities are prioritized and presented to the right customer at the right time optimized for revenue growth and preservation.
Requirements
- Experience with systems, master data and data architecture to pull data from numerous tables from multiple sources to be merged and analyzed.
- Experience creating and maintaining Teradata and/or BigQuery SQL.
- Experience with one or more reporting/analytics tools such as Qlik or Tableau.
- Experience working with ETL utilities (Fastload, Multiload, BTEQ, and TPump).
- Knowledge of office productivity software (G Suite or Office 365 or JIRA).
- Data Warehouse knowledge and experience with automation scripting.
Responsibilities
- Designing and creating fact tables, dashboards, and reporting.
- Leading the collection and aggregation of corporate relevant datasets to support BI enablement.
- Driving standardization, efficiency and continuous improvement of data management.
- Leveraging customer engagement data to measure performance of marketing strategies.
- Establishing automated controls to notify process owners when their key business metrics change.
Other
- Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
- Ability to work independently and own end to end responsibilities for project execution.
- Curious, analytical mind with the ability to identify and assess key business risks and controls.
- Experience working in cross-functional CRM programs.
- Experience working analytical projects in the telecom domain.
