Kaweah Health is looking to improve its operational efficiency and effectiveness by implementing solutions, maintaining, and supporting its assigned applications, specifically through the design of reports and data visualization tools to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Proficient experience with programming languages or development tools related to ETL (extract, transform, load).
- Experience with relational databases.
- Experience using and developing reports.
- Experience in data analytics, large data sets, and problem solving.
- Experience with SQL, T-SQL, Cerner Command Language (CCL), Crystal Report Writer, SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence, Tableau, Power BI, SSIS, GoAnywhere MFT.
- Reporting experience with Cerner applications.
- Experience with file transfers, writing queries and general scripting.
Responsibilities
- Translates business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources.
- Assists in implementing effective business analytics practices that drive improved decision making, efficiency and performance.
- Communicates with nontechnical business users to determine specific business requirements for reports and business intelligence solutions.
- Communicates regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity, security and optimized performance at the application and database level.
- Identifies, communicates, and resolves data quality and data reconciliation issues.
- Performs independent audits and reviews and validates databases and reports to ensure data integrity.
- Processes data extracts using data retrieval and management tools.
Other
- Three ISS management approved certifications/equivalent training in area of scope/support within two years of hire/transfer.
- Must keep all required certifications/equivalent training up-to-date (or within three years of original certification/training).
- Minimum of 10 years experience in technology or healthcare related field.
- Of the 10 years total experience, at least five years work experience as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, Database Administrator or equivalent.
- Builds effective partnerships with coworkers throughout ISS by freely sharing appropriate information and providing assistance when needed.
