Memorial Healthcare System needs to analyze complex business intelligence data to inform business decisions, evaluate datasets, and create reports, dashboards, and extracts for various needs using established tools and data sources. This role is responsible for the entire Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (BI) development lifecycle, including integrating new data sources, extracting and visualizing data, and ensuring data quality.
Requirements
- Progressive experience writing T-SQL queries and stored procedures, including developing reports and extracts for customers using BI tools including SSMS, SSRS and SSIS.
- Advanced knowledge of database and data warehouse concepts and technologies, including data profiling and data modeling.
- Working knowledge with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Pyramid Analytics, or Power BI.
- Leverage expertise in eligibility, claims and EHR data (from Epic and other community EHR providers) in the development of reports, dashboards and extracts.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating and updating centralized data models using existing tools independently for complex data sets.
- Builds Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes to normalize, apply business rules, and load data into tabular and multi-dimensional models within the business intelligence platform.
- Leverages advanced analytical technologies within the business intelligence structure to assist with implementation, maintenance and support of data methodologies, outcomes, and insights.
- Conducts data discovery, data profiling and data modeling for complex data sets to gather insights and identify trends.
- Leverages expertise to troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and take proactive corrective measures.
- Develop models and algorithms to support contracting, required reporting and innovation in value based care.
- Uses historical data from available industry reports, public information, field reports or purchased source to extract insight using data analysis and modeling to inform business decisions.

- Four (4) years of relevant experience.
