Requirements
- Software Development Life Cycle experience
- Basic P&C Insurance Knowledge Preferred

Responsibilities
- May coordinates major software release schedule and approval process with Release Management, development staff, Business System Analysts, and customers.
- Develop ad-hoc scripts (complex SQL) to create reports and troubleshoot/resolve issues.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in response to user inquiries. Maintain a knowledge base of known issues/solutions and provide potential workarounds to customers.
- Create detailed technical specifications which may cross systems.
- Acts on a consultative role to provide resolutions to new business challenges or existing complex problems.
- Develops and executes SQL commands to accomplish data model changes and is involved in data modeling. May also include report generation and data analysis.
- May define Complex XML schemas for web services and associated mappings.

- 7+ years related industry experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Travel may be up to 15%
- Ability to act as a mentor to more junior members of a team
