Requirements
- Strong use of MS Office Suite/G Suite
- Experience in IT space and knowledge of IT software/services
- 1 year of exposure to technical projects in the infotainment, connectivity or software space preferred
Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional commodity strategies to ensure innovation, development and execution of current and in-development products
- Develop and implement creative solutions to complex challenges, capacity and cost management, sourcing of complex/innovative product, purchase order issuance/maintenance and contract administration
- Sourcing suppliers, managing complex contracts, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
- Leading supplier development and cross-functional communications with suppliers using a 'One Voice' approach and lead a cross-functional team including partners from IT, Legal, Finance and other business departments
- Managing key supplier relationships while maximizing suppliers' ability to deliver quality product on time
Other
- Bachelor of Science in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or equivalent from an AACSB accredited program
- 7 years of relevant purchasing experience or other disciplines that require significant negotiation/exposure to sourcing processes
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategically
- Strong communication, presentation and commodity leadership skills
- Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing complex situations
