Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and healthcare consumers and needs a Senior C-Sharp Backend Software Engineer to develop information technology-enabled business solutions that are both scalable and reliable.
Requirements
- 5+ years software development experience.
- C-Sharp & .Net development experience.
- SQL: Stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and views.
- AI – Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI platform.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Backend: JavaScript, Java, Python or Spring experience helpful.
- Knowledge of NoSQL, WCF, Azure/AWS experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems using best practices and industry standards.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Work closely with product management, quality assurance, and operations teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to resolve problems.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure software quality.
