Developing cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable platform as a service (PaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), software as a service (SaaS), and data as a service (DaaS) for BAE Systems
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in interactive UI & Backend/Middleware
- 8+ years of web framework development using Bootstrap, Django and real time data platform Redis
- 8+ years of experience in .NET C-Sharp, Angular, NodeJS, React, Python, GraphQL, Svelte
- 1+ years of working knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Gitflow, CI/CD Pipelines, RabbitMQ and Visual Studio Code
- 1+ years of experience in querying and retrieving data from a Lucene based index. ElasticSearch is preferred
- 1+ years Agile project experience
- 1+ years AWS development
Responsibilities
- Developing cloud applications, migrating existing on-premises applications to the cloud, debugging cloud stacks, managing policies for the use of cloud services, requests for new technology, establishing a secure cloud environment, ensuring appropriate availability/uptime design
- Implementing automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices
- Analyzing applications and making recommendations across multiple areas that identify what platforms can move, migrate, and/or be deployed into a cloud environment
- Providing strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization and benefit analyses of cloud, cloud agnostic, and on-site premise services
- Designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software
- Working independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software

- BS in Computer Science or similar technical
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally, if needed, for two weeks at a time once or twice a year
