Leidos is seeking a Cloud System Administrator to support architecting, deploying, and optimizing cloud infrastructures for missile defense projects within the BMD Simulations and Analysis Portfolio, managing both classified and unclassified cloud environments.
Requirements
- 3+ Years’ experience with Linux Operating System Administration (i.e., RHEL8, etc.)
- Establishing a Cloud Infrastructure
- Maintaining a Cloud infrastructure
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible or similar technology
- Using Azure/AWS or similar technology
- Linux Servers, DNS servers, Domain controllers, network storage devices and HP or Dell servers
- Designing, configuring, and installing information systems such as routers, servers, switches, storage systems and laptops.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux-based system and cloud infrastructure across development, test and production environments
- Apply system patches, manage compliance updates, and maintain system accreditation documentation
- Manage user accounts, system health, and security posture across multiple isolated environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual machines, operating systems, and custom software
- Escalate and track blocking issues and impediments to progress, coordinate with leadership help to remove as needed
- Coordinate with technical and program leadership to refine the cloud infrastructure and drive improvements
Other
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Information Systems with 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Security+ Certification or able to obtain within 90 days of start.
- Must be a US citizen, possess and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- This is a full-time onsite support role
