Apple is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to help develop the next generation of cloud services infrastructure. You will be working on key components of the iCloud platform and introducing new fundamental capabilities. Your work will help to power entirely new applications and scale existing ones, such as FaceTime, PushNotifications, iCloud Drive, Photos, and Backup.
Requirements
- strong programming skills in Objective-C, C, Swift, or C++
- Experience with security, privacy, and cryptography concepts
- Experience building on Apple Platforms (macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, etc.)
- Experience designing and building developer-facing APIs is a plus
- Experience with Event-based programming or inter-process communication is a plus
- low-level (C/Objective C, libdispatch, POSIX APIs) and system-level skills (synchronization protocols, framework design, IPCs, multi-process performance work, system-wide resource sharing.)

- Work with adopters to craft clear APIs
- Work with the network and file system stacks to build performant daemons
- Work with our server counterparts to design scalable features and protocols
- Implement core components of the cryptographic protection of cloud data

- Bachelor's degree, or above, in an engineering-related field or equivalent related experience
