Ensuring the security, stability, and resilience of Virtua Health organization by monitoring and analyzing data from different sources to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
Requirements
Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python, Perl, SQL) required
Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems preferred
Strong knowledge and experience with data analytics and AI platforms
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus solutions
SANS Security Certification within the first 6 months of hire
Experience with Dark Web, Firewall, NAC, Vulnerability Management, and Phishing through analytics and AI
Responsibilities
Provide senior level analysis and advice on potential security incidents by analyzing information from the Dark Web to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
Create and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of security tools and strategies
Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence data
Develop and maintain intelligence reports and assessments to assist in identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating potential security threats
Prepare and present regular reports to the VP of Cybersecurity on threat intelligence data, metrics, and KPI’s
Supports projects by collaborating with IS Management, Project Managers & Leads for resource planning, matching staff skills set with project requirements
Works constructively with vendors and IT partners to ensure on-going service and resolution of issues

Minimum 5 years of applicable experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity Engineering, related degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage multiple projects, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and confidentiality
