Deloitte Technology US (DT - US) is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Architecture & Engineering Manager to direct long-term business strategy, planning, design, build, and implementation for the Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering team to ensure alignment with US and Global goals. This role will involve providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of Engineers and Architects, ensuring security is integrated into future IT implementations, and finding consensus and sophisticated solutions to complex problems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant, enterprise IT experience in producing strategic defense in depth approaches and actionable insights to improve the security posture of an enterprise
  • Minimum of 4 years in a technical leadership role and people/process management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in new product investigation, evaluation, and implementation in a large enterprise environment
  • Expertise in partnering with threat intelligence and incident response teams to identify and remediate potential security exposures that may currently exist or may pose a potential future threat to the US Firm's networks or systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge in on or more of the following information security domains, including: Security Governance, Management, Policies and Procedures, Cloud Security and automation of security processes, Network Security Operations, Security Architectures and Information Classification, Identity Management and Access Control, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity, Risk Management, Secure System Development Life Cycle and strong technical documentation skills; workflows, architectural diagrams, support documentation
  • Demonstrated experience in presenting recommendations to senior leaders offering insight into the broader impact of current decisions and long-term risks for the firm
  • Work jointly with other Infrastructure and Cyber Security PPMDs to periodically review existing security device architecture and enact remediations to keep pace with evolving threats and technologies

Responsibilities

  • Direct long term business strategy, planning, design, build, and implementation for the Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering team
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of Engineers and Architects
  • Leverage automation to streamline cyber hygiene processes
  • Generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo while producing solutions and making final decisions and recommendations on proposed highly complex solution design both on-premise and for cloud adoption and integration
  • Lead the US member firm Security Architecture and Engineering team producing strategic architectural approaches and actionable insights to improve the security posture of our enterprise
  • Leverage expertise from incident response to identify and remediate potential security exposures that may currently exist or may pose a potential future threat to the US Firm's networks or systems
  • Work jointly with other Infrastructure and Cyber Security PPMDs to periodically review existing security device architecture and enact remediations to keep pace with evolving threats and technologies

Other

  • Interact with PPMDs in the US and Globally in development of the requirements to meet those future strategies
  • Find consensus and sophisticated solutions to complex problems that might not have been developed, by using critical thinking to ensure all stakeholders are engaged in the solution
  • Interact with vendors, FSS's, other DT - US teams, and other Cyber Security teams
  • Maintain a strong relationship with internal resources Global leadership and FSS leaders to accurately represent those views in Architecture and Engineering designs
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average to support embedded team collaboration across domains periodically as required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
