Convene is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to lead global commercial reporting and analytics for their Global Commercial Strategy team. The role will be responsible for reports and dashboards that drive strategic decisions across pricing, sales, marketing, commercial strategy, and revenue optimization.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a data analyst or reporting analyst role, preferably in a commercial, sales, or revenue-focused environment
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL (Snowflake experience is a plus)
- Experience working with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail; ability to QA and troubleshoot independently
- Excellent data storytelling skills—can build intuitive dashboards and present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in hospitality, real estate, or events is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core commercial reports and dashboards across revenue pacing, booking trends, pricing performance, and sales funnel health
- Collaborate with data engineers to define business logic and ensure accuracy in data models, tables, and views
- Automate recurring reports where possible and maintain data integrity across global datasets
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support pricing decisions, forecast updates, campaign tracking, and executive-level strategy reviews
- Translate complex data into compelling visuals and narratives for senior leadership presentations
- Identify risks, opportunities, and behavioral trends across regions and recommend data-backed actions
- Partner with regional revenue leaders, sales managers, and operations to understand reporting needs and prioritize deliverables
