The company is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to work with the expense team and stakeholders across various departments to define data needs and products that will drive business growth. They need someone who can handle multiple moving parts in a fast-growing environment while maintaining quality and delivering value.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of professional experience in the field of Data Analysis
  • Proficiency with Data Visualization Tools for at least 2 years
  • Strong command of SQL
  • Proficient in standard statistical techniques such as significance testing and regression modeling
  • Demonstrated eagerness to acquire new technological skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and dbt is beneficial
  • Ability to effectively interpret business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions, insights, and reports

Responsibilities

  • Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets
  • Work alongside stakeholders to understand requests and provide solutions using data analytics
  • Provide data solutions end-to-end (working with raw data, developing SQL models, building dashboards and presenting insights to stakeholders)
  • Support and strengthen our fast paced fintech product team in all functional areas and special requests as needed
  • Create and deliver documentation and training on reporting and BI tools for business users to enable self-service on company data
  • Consolidate data across business units and acquisitions with different definitions and measurement
  • Develop SQL models using data warehousing principles (we use dbt)

Other

  • work closely with the expense team and stakeholders from across the business including engineers, sales, marketing, finance, and operations
  • The ideal candidate will be extremely curious, independent, knowledgeable about data, and will use their data skills and business mindset to make a difference every day.

  • Prior experience in fintech is a big plus
  • Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, information science, or a related technical field
  • Excellent communication skills and adept at building relationships with stakeholders; must also be a collaborative team player
