Pontera is a fintech company looking to help people retire better by enabling retirement savers to get the help they need managing their 401(k) and other retirement plan accounts as part of a personalized strategy by their trusted financial advisor. They are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization, uncover insights, optimize business processes, and support strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Specific Tableau experience
- Familiarity with Python, R, or similar scripting languages is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform deep-dive analyses on complex datasets to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and solve business problems.
- Develop, implement, and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure business outcomes.
- Support decision-making by providing clear, concise, and impactful data presentations to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Partner with Data Engineering to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and scalability of data pipelines and reporting tools.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in processes, tools, and data quality, and recommend solutions.

- 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role in the tech industry, with a proven track record of driving business impact.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Experience working in FinTech, SaaS, or a high-growth startup environment is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and levels of seniority.
- Experience working with GTM teams, with an emphasis of Sales and CS
