The company is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their Data & Analytics team to improve end-to-end reporting workflows and BI tools, democratize data through robust pipelines and intuitive visualizations, and proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, engineering processes, and reporting infrastructure.
Requirements
- Expert in Looker, including LookML development, data exploration, and dashboard optimization.
- Strong SQL skills, with experience developing in dbt or equivalent transformation tools.
- Familiar with data ingestion and orchestration tools such as Fivetran, Airflow, or similar.
- Ability to debug data issues across pipeline layers (source → staging → model → dashboard).
- Ownership mentality with demonstrated ability to improve data systems without being prompted.
- Prior experience working with data from tools like Shopify, Salesforce, Klaviyo, Netsuite, and Rudderstack is a plus.
- Experience with cross-system data reconciliation (e.g., reconciling sales data across Shopify, Salesforce, Netsuite, …).
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain end-to-end data workflows, from extraction to modeling to dashboard delivery.
- Lead efforts in building robust, self-serve data experiences in Looker as a platform expert, including LookML development and dashboard design.
- Work across data ingestion tools (primarily Fivetran) to pull raw data into our warehouse.
- Build and manage data models in dbt, ensuring clean and reliable layers for reporting and analysis.
- Proactively identify engineering and data integrity issues, propose solutions, and lead fixes — not just as a builder, but as a steward of high-quality data systems.
- Support reporting continuity across systems migrations (e.g., WooCommerce → Shopify) and multi-source reconciliation (Salesforce, Netsuite, etc.).
Other
- 4–6 years of experience in data analytics, BI development, or data engineering in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting multiple stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, or Operations.
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and takes initiative to improve underlying systems and data access.
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication practices.
- Exposure to event tracking and customer journey analysis (e.g., using Rudderstack or similar CDPs).
