The Cowen Institute is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to oversee and conduct data analysis, produce publications and data visualizations, and track policies related to K-12 public education, postsecondary education, and youth outcomes. This role will also lead the New Orleans Data Collaborative.
Requirements
- Master’s Level (or equivalent) knowledge of statistical analysis
- Proficient in data analytic systems including SPSS, SAS, STATA, Microsoft, R, and/or Tableau.

- Experience working with in-school educators.
- Experience leading or participating in collaboratives that bring together diverse practitioners within the education field.
- BA in education, data analytics, social policy, or related field.
- Four years of professional work experience, including research and analysis.
- Experience working within the K-12 and postsecondary education systems.
- Familiarity with the overall education landscape in New Orleans and Louisiana.
