Foundation Risk Partners (FRP) is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design, build, and maintain enterprise-level business intelligence and data solutions that drive trusted insights across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in BI visualization tools, with Power BI strongly preferred (Tableau or Qlik also acceptable).
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or analytics.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric components including Data Factory, Data Engineering, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and semantic modeling.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise data models.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing queries, reports, and data models for performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise data models with a focus on security, compliance, and scalability.
- Build and optimize Microsoft Fabric-based data pipelines, Lakehouses, and semantic models to support scalable, governed reporting.
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards that transform complex data into actionable insights for business leaders.
- Support and enforce FRP’s data governance, data quality, and validation practices.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to analysts and business users on best practices in Fabric, Power BI, and self-service BI.
- Troubleshoot and optimize queries, reports, and data models for performance.
- Stay current with emerging BI, Microsoft Fabric, and data engineering trends to recommend continuous improvements.
Other
- Partner with the VP of Enterprise Reporting to implement FRP’s reporting strategy and governance standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across FRP to understand business requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Exposure to version control and deployment practices (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake).
