MongoDB is seeking an experienced Sr. Data Analyst to join the MongoDB Education team to analyze data, interpret results, and provide actionable insights to drive informed decision-making across the department. This role is essential to driving the MongoDB Skills initiative forward by turning raw data into actionable insights that empower account teams to strategically upskill customers and accelerate account growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles
- Extensive experience developing, sharing, and automating analytics workflows in Alteryx, Knime, or Dataiku
- Experience with MongoDB or document databases, or the ability to quickly learn the basics of MongoDB Atlas
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Knowledge of AI solutions for data analysis
- Alteryx, Knime, or Dataiku Certification
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering to develop automated data collection methods
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources
- Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Develop scripts and workflows to automate data processing tasks
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to derive insights from complex datasets
- Develop and implement predictive models using machine learning algorithms, including regression, classification, clustering, and time series forecasting, using both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques to analyze data

- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
