At Underdog, we make sports more fun. As a Senior Data Analyst, Product Analytics, you’ll play a key role in driving data-informed decisions that shape the future of Underdog’s products. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where your analyses and experimentation expertise will directly influence how millions of users experience Underdog.
Requirements
- strong SQL skills
- strong foundation in statistics
- designed, implemented, and analyzed A/B or multivariate tests using tools like Amplitude Experiment, Optimizely, StatSig, LaunchDarkly, or Eppo
- create dashboards and visual reports that make performance and impact visible across teams
- Strong Proficiency with BI and product analytics tools such as Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, and Amplitude.
- Background in Python or R for advanced analysis or statistical modeling.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate experiments, ensuring statistical rigor, proper execution, and actionable readouts that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Develop analytical frameworks and KPIs to evaluate product performance, user engagement, and conversion funnels across core experiences.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that improve visibility into product performance and key metrics using BI tools such as Tableau, Sigma, or Power BI.
- Collaborate on tracking and instrumentation strategies in Amplitude and other analytics tools to ensure data accuracy and coverage.
- Contribute to improvements in the Product Analytics experimentation framework, playbooks, and documentation for test setup, analysis, and reporting.
- Deliver clear, concise, and visually compelling insights that help Product Leadership make confident, data-informed decisions.
- Partner with peers across the Analytics team to share learnings, standardize best practices, and continuously improve analytical quality and efficiency.
