The Zebra is revolutionizing how connected consumers research and shop for insurance, and they are looking for a Data Analyst to help them identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in their data to drive business decisions and improve the customer experience.
Requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Hex, Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Collect and clean data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics.
- Lead the analysis during the experimentation phase of new initiatives to determine viability and success of hypotheses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insights that address their questions and challenges.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through presentations and reports.
- Partner with business stakeholders at multiple levels to understand business model, how to measure success, and help identify trends
Other
- 5-7 years experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- strong sense of ownership, great communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.
- Remote work across the contingent US is possible, but not in CA, MA, NY, NJ.
