Daybreak Health is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions across operations, finance, clinical, customer success, and leadership functions. As their dedicated analytics hire, this role will shape how data is interpreted, communicated, and embedded into decision-making across the company.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and Looker (or comparable BI tools)
- Hands-on experience building dashboards, pulling data, and creating business reports
- Ability to translate business questions into analytics solutions for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Familiarity with data governance and reporting standards
- Exposure to operational, financial, or clinical metrics in a high-growth environment
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards in Looker tailored to stakeholder needs
- Create standardized reporting processes that improve visibility and consistency across the organization
- Set up an analytics-ready database, establish data dictionaries, and manage incoming analytics requests
- Partner with functional leaders to identify, define, and prioritize business KPIs
- Translate data trends into meaningful insights, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure alignment on data quality, availability, and governance
- Train stakeholders on how to make dashboards and reports

- 5+ years in business analytics, data analysis, or a related field in a fast-paced environment
- Proven success collaborating across functions and managing competing priorities
- Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Experience in healthcare, technology, or related industries
