The role is focused on providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making, policy development, and external reporting for the school and University leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, economics, business analytics, computer science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in data collection, analysis, reporting, and visualization, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Experience with survey design, administration, and analysis.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and other query languages.
- Familiarity with programmatic data analysis using Python or R.
Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and execute complex projects with a range of stakeholders and end-users.
- Lead technical project execution of annual faculty reporting and merit processes.
- Manage survey design, administration, and analysis for external ranking surveys.
- Develop data visualizations to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets.
- Implement data management and automation solutions.
- Produce course evaluations for undergraduate and graduate teaching.
- Facilitate data-driven decision making, strategic planning, policy development, and assessment and evaluation.
