Life360 is seeking to support its stakeholders through data and insights, enabling them to make data-driven decisions and drive business success, particularly in the areas of financial reporting, accounting support, and business intelligence.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience working with Python or other programming languages.
- Experience working with Claude Code and Cursor / Windsurf / other AI-enhanced IDE’s.
- Experience managing a Databricks data warehouse or similar (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc) and deploying SQL data models.
- Proficiency with DBT and Airflow for orchestrating data models, testing, and deployments.
- Experience deploying AI-based solutions in the finance and analytics space.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Support our Strategic Finance, Revenue, and other accounting teams with reporting / analysis tools - providing data and tools that go to both internal and external financial reporting.
- Develop and optimize Tableau dashboards, and support utilization of other tools such as the Python-based Plotly.
- Use tools like dbt, Causal, and others to model data.
- Use Databricks to query, review, and analyze data.
- Use DBT (Data Build Tool) to orchestrate, test, and deploy SQL data models.
- Support the finance & accounting teams during the month-end close by maintaining and improving financial reporting capabilities.
- Implement AI-based solutions to help expedite development and expand our capabilities.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on financial reporting, accounting support, and business intelligence.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
