At Boston Scientific, the business problem is to support and evolve analytics solutions, including those in support of inventory positions for consolidations and tax analysis, by leveraging Alteryx for data extraction and transformation from SAP HANA and Tableau for dashboarding.
Requirements
- Deep proficiency in Alteryx and Tableau.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP HANA and S4 data structures.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing principles.
- Familiarity with accounting, finance, or tax data flows and concepts.
- Certifications in Tableau, Alteryx, or SAP.
- Experience working with Snowflake, Jira, Hyperion
- Familiarity with automation tools
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical owner for Alteryx–HANA–Tableau data pipelines and dashboard ecosystem.
- Design and implement robust Alteryx workflows for scalable, auditable data extraction and transformation.
- Translate business requirements from Finance, Tax, and Operations into analytics specifications and implement them independently.
- Monitor upstream SAP S4 changes and adjust solutions accordingly to preserve data integrity.
- Lead root-cause analyses and implement fixes for data quality or performance issues.
- Provide inputs and take actions through governance council
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, documentation, and standardization.
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in analytics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- CPA, CIA, or relevant accounting/finance certification.
- Experience in manufacturing, medical device, or supply chain industries.
