The Pilot Resources Team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to leverage analytics in bold new ways and shape the future of Pilot Resources.
Requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, SAS, SQL).
- Advanced level of skill in data manipulation using programming language.
- Ability to create complex queries.
- Strong statistical analysis, predictive modeling, problem solving and organizational capabilities.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
- Expertise in Python, SAS, SQL or other database interface tools.
- Advanced analytical applications (e.g., simulation, optimization, statistical analysis, optimization, linear regression, machine learning)
Responsibilities
- Think Beyond: Use out-of-the-box analytical approaches wrangle large datasets using Python. SQL, etc. to identify opportunities and understand performance.
- Transform Data into Action: Develop dynamic dashboards, interactive reports, and compelling visualizations that bring operational business insights to life.
- Innovate for the Future: Design predictive models and data-driven solutions to support improvement in Crew Resources, Crew Operations and financial performance.
- Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models and reporting.
- Tell a Story with Data: Translate complex analytics into impactful insights that shape Delta’s approach to pilot development and operational excellence.
- Break Barriers in Learning Tech: Leverage AI, machine learning, and cutting-edge tools to customize pilot training like never before.
- Support and maintain team ETL popelines to ensure optimized and accurate outputs.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Information Science, mathematics, statistics, economics or other relevant quantitative field
- 18+ months in data analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
