American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. is looking to solve problems related to architecting internal financial system solutions, formulating plans for modules and/or enhancements in the financial planning system, and troubleshooting analytics powered models for better user experience and data integrity.
Requirements
- analyzing foreign exchange risk and markets drivers, as well as global and country-specific economic trends and financial risks
- translating complex finance and foreign exchange concepts into actionable insights and presentations to senior leaders for decision-making
- developing complex financial analytics and financial models to discover key actionable insights using Advanced Excel and VBA
- financial systems, including Essbase, Oracle Business Intelligence, and TM1
Responsibilities
- Architect internal financial system solutions.
- Utilize structured analysis and design to formulate plans for modules and/or enhancements in the financial planning system.
- Report project status and ongoing system or data issues.
- Perform requirements gathering related to various design concepts applying knowledge of financial models and/or financial analytics.
- Troubleshoot and debug analytics powered model for better user experience and data integrity for integrating with other systems.
Other
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field
- 2 years of experience with economic and financial planning, and financial risk analysis on a global scale
- 1 year of experience with planning and driving critical projects across Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Controllership functions in local and international markets
- Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
