Gloo360 needs to shape its data infrastructure, enable advanced analytics, and deliver scalable data solutions to power both internal operations and client-facing platforms.
Requirements
- Expertise in the modern data stack, including Snowflake, dbt, FiveTran, Airbyte, Python, and BI tools like Qlik or Tableau
- Experience designing, building, and managing API-based data integrations and ELT/ETL pipelines
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance practices (e.g., documentation, access control, naming standards), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with Workday, Salesforce, or HubSpot data strongly preferred
- Familiarity with nonprofit or mission-driven data models is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles, with exposure to both platform and analytics-focused data systems
- Proven track record supporting data-intensive product initiatives (e.g., embedded analytics, personalization, scoring models)
Responsibilities
- Supporting both platform and analytics data engineering efforts, including source ingestion, modeling, and performance optimization
- Collaborating closely with software engineering and product development teams to align data engineering efforts with broader product and platform needs
- Contributing to the evolution of Gloo360’s data architecture, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and alignment with enterprise goals
- Integrating external data sources via APIs and supporting application-ready data delivery where needed
- Participating in the development and reinforcement of data governance practices
- Helping evaluate and implement tools and frameworks that advance team capabilities and streamline data workflows
- Remaining adaptable and willing to take on new projects as business priorities evolve
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional environments
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must be based near McKinney, Texas and available to work onsite at least two days per week as part of a hybrid work model
