Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building data systems, including hands-on work with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and SQL performance tuning
- Familiarity with AWS services including Aurora, S3, Lambda, and Terraform
- Experience with tools such as Airflow, dbt, and Redshift or Snowflake for transformation and orchestration
- Comfort writing pipelines and workflows in Python or similar languages
- Experience working with sensitive data, implementing role-based access control, and ensuring data privacy and auditability
- Experience supporting or building analytics platforms for end users or product-facing features
- Exposure to streaming or real-time data pipelines
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the evolution of the data platform, building and improving systems that power internal analytics and customer-facing intelligence
- Build and scale a robust, flexible platform that enables analytics and data-driven experiences across products
- Develop reliable systems to ingest, transform, store, and serve data using batch and near real-time approaches
- Build and maintain resilient, observable pipelines that connect APIs, databases, and event streams across internal and customer-facing use cases
- Help advance practices in validation, monitoring, and governance to ensure high-quality and trustworthy data systems
- Partner with analytics, product, and engineering teams to ensure data pipelines are structured, governed, and optimized to support key use cases
- Collaborate on well-documented, maintainable data models that meet the needs of multiple teams and stakeholders
