Requirements
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and modern cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, etc)
- Proven experience designing data pipelines and scalable data architectures
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data ecosystems
- Familiarity with CI/CD tool and automated workflows
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines in air-gapped environments
- Experience building governance frameworks from scratch using FAIR principles
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and ingestion workflows
- Define and maintain schemas and tables in Snowflake and other systems
- Create reusable templates for data ingestion processes
- Build self-service tools and interfaces that help teams access and use data correctly and efficiently
- Write clean, maintainable and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with data science and software engineering teams on shared infrastructure and tooling
Other
- 5+ years of experience in data or software engineering
- Strong foundation in computer science; degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Domain knowledge in biotech or life sciences
- A strong bias towards cross-functional collaboration
