The FI Data Solutions team is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the operational and analytical capability in FI and contribute to a Fidelity enterprise level initiative to build a Master Data Management platform.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in database design and development using Oracle or Snowflake or NoSQL databases
- Strong expertise in SQL
- 3+ years of proven experience at programming in languages like Python
- Extensive experience with ETL technologies for reporting and analytics solutions
- 3+ years of proven experience using AWS services like S3, EC2, Lambda, CFT
- 3+ years of strong experience in Snowflake
- Preferred experience implementing data management platforms for MDM, such as Reltio
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and maintaining the operational and analytical capability in FI
- Building batch and near real time pipelines, data modeling, and other Master Data solutions
- Implementing robust data collection and processing pipelines to meet specific business needs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop MDM strategies
- Providing long-term solutions for the foundational Data and Analytics platform
- Assessing and researching current implementations of the platform and determining the course of action required to elevate the platform to meet customer needs
- Translating requirements into technical specifications

- Participate in architecture, technical design, and product implementation discussions
- Working onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office
