Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering and healthcare IT
- Expertise in SQL, Python, Power BI, TOAD, and cloud data platforms
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7)
- Strong understanding of VA healthcare data environments
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of data engineering solutions for healthcare identity management and clinical data quality
- Support the VA Master Person Index (VA MPI) and associated data pipelines
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to improve data accuracy and interoperability
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize data governance strategies
Other
- Produce high-quality deliverables and outputs that align with contract outcomes.
- Execute tasks independently, seeking client assistance only after internal resources are exhausted, ensuring requests align with contract goals.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, including AMC resources, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.
- Maintain professional conduct in meetings and written communication, participating actively with cameras on.
- Stay engaged, communicate promptly, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
