CLA is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Data Engineer to develop solutions that enable data, insights, analytics, and actionable triggers and solutions, utilizing a full range of data technologies to create new data patterns, establishing best practices and standards for managing large collections of data.
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming software, such as R, Python, Scala, Java, and SQL required.
- Proficiency in Azure Databricks required
- Understanding of Agile Methodology and DevOps principles required.
- Experience with data analytics tools preferred
- Experience in design or development of enterprise data solutions, applications, and integrations preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery among various environments.
- Designs and directs building of data pipelines, utilizing Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory to build scalable solutions.
- Acts as point of escalation for Data Engineers to troubleshoot data-related problems.
- Authorizes maintenance, modifications and peer review as needed during the building process.
- Continually ensures successful operational monitoring and pipeline maintenance.
- Leads team of Data Engineers and other members of the Data Analytics team to analyze existing software programs and technology processes, ensuring continued effectiveness and efficiency.
- Leads implementation of new technology for firm use, as well as creating roadmaps and tools to guide and monitor usage.

- 4 years of relevant experience required.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Field of Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or Data Science is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office products (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
