Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines that drive business success, leveraging expertise in Informatica IICS, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Tableau.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Informatica IICS and Microsoft Fabric for building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong experience with Snowflake for data warehousing, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) for creating analytics solutions, dashboards, and reports.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric for unified data integration, analytics, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, or other Azure data services).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or Spark, Data Warehousing and data modeling.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Microsoft Fabric Data factory for efficient ETL/ELT processes.
- Build and optimize data models in Snowflake to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Leverage Microsoft Fabric to unify data integration, analytics, and reporting workflows, ensuring seamless data processing and insights delivery.
- Utilize Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to create advanced analytics solutions, including data visualizations and dashboards
- Develop semantic models and data visualizations in Power BI for business insights.
- Implement best practices in data governance, quality, and performance tuning within the Fabric environment.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred but not required).
- 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with business teams, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ability to work effectively as both a team player and an independent contributor, with a track record of taking ownership of projects.
