Applecart is the leading technology company creating a new category of “Decision Maker Marketing”. The most important decisions are made by the hardest people to reach and influence. Historically, C-suite leaders have lacked the tools to reach the stakeholders that matter most to their business.
Requirements
- You have 6+ years of professional software development experience
- You have strong computer science fundamentals
- You have designed and implemented scalable data processing pipelines
- You have worked with all types of storage/persistence engines, and know their applications: relational databases, document databases, key/value stores, etc…
- You have experience implementing various data warehousing architectures, including products like Snowflake or Databricks
- You are familiar with Lakehouse architecture and open file format (e.g. Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi, Delta, etc)
- You are a SQL expert
- You have experience with distributed computing and know the strengths/weaknesses of different frameworks (should include Apache Spark)
- You manage AWS resources using infrastructure-as-code
Responsibilities
- expand Applecart’s data-mining capabilities to uncover deeper and more impactful connections within decision-maker networks
- work on ETL pipelines, APIs, and algorithms within a service-oriented architecture
- own and enhance integrations with external APIs, large-scale batch data processing pipelines, and network-building algorithms
- contributing to the design and development of a centralized data Lakehouse architecture
- collaborate closely with Product and Technology leadership to shape the future direction of Applecart’s technology
- define and evangelize coding best practices
- coaching less experienced team members

- This is a hybrid role. Work from home on Monday and Friday and in Applecart’s New York City office Tuesday through Thursday.
