The Ohio State University is looking to solve data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation problems in their Health System Shared Services | Information Warehouse department.
Requirements
- Experience with Epic's Cogito Clarity and Caboodle databases.
- Experience with data modeling tools (ERStudio preferred) and RDBMS (SQL Server 2015 and above preferred).
- Ability to develop and apply innovative approaches to data warehousing problems and opportunities.
- Experience interacting with customers to gather and understand their business and technical requirements.
- Strong project and process management skills.
- Experience in developing technical and user documentation.
- 4 years of experience in Information Technology (preferably experience in Data Warehousing)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation.
- Designs and develops complex Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes for the data warehouse.
- Reviews data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and tuning existing data warehouse applications.
- Develops, maintains, and supports complex enterprise data warehouse systems and corresponding data marts.
- Creates new or enhanced components of the data warehouse.
- Manages complex projects with a medium to large scope.

- A college degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to manage complex projects with a medium to large scope.
- Strong project and process management skills.
- Work experience in developing technical and user documentation.
