TekSynap is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to develop and integrate advanced data analytics for both desktop and web-based visual analytic platforms to support a government client, specifically the FBI, in devising policy matters and techniques for complicated investigations.
Requirements
- Comprehensive expertise across key technology domains and high-impact assignments.
- Proven experience in data engineering and secure, scalable analytics environments.
- Experience with open source, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) technologies.
- Knowledge of high-performance computing resources and innovative graphics and visualization techniques.
- Experience with relational databases and data warehouse infrastructure.
- Familiarity with database architecture and data analytics.
- Experience with leading complex engineering efforts and shaping strategic technology directions.
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise database strategies and set standards for operational performance, programming practices, and security protocols.
- Build and manage large-scale relational databases.
- Ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing data warehouse infrastructure.
- Optimize system performance and enhance overall functionality.
- Develop and integrate advanced data analytics for both desktop and web-based visual analytic platforms.
- Enable large-scale analysis of relational data through innovative graphics and visualization techniques, utilizing high-performance computing resources.
- Work with open source, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) technologies to transform structured and semi-structured data into actionable intelligence.

- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
- Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
