PGIM Investments is looking to improve financial services and solve financial challenges in an ever-changing world by leveraging Microsoft cloud platforms for data processing and management.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Azure services and features including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Fabric workloads and features including Notebooks, Deployment Pipelines, Workspace architecture, Workspace Security, Data Warehouse/Lakehouse Architecture, Semantic Model, Data Factor, Data Flow, Data Activator, AI Skills, and Copilot, ultimately leading to AI capabilities in Power BI.
- Proficient in Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines, builds, and releases.
- Experience with data governance tools (Purview preferred), data security (OneLake Security preferred), and compliance requirements like data retention schedules and audit.
- Knowledge of Semantic model, Power Query, SQL, DAX to create visualization dashboards
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot’s capabilities to accelerate the creation and enhancement of Power BI reports and dashboards is desirable
- Microsoft certifications in data-related fields are preferred, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Data Engineer, Fabric Engineer, Power BI Data Analyst
Responsibilities
- Implement data warehouse and lakehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric and related technologies, leveraging storage formats like Parquet and storage layers such as Delta Lake.
- Develop and deploy data integration solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, and delivery to consumers within Microsoft Fabric, while utilizing optimal storage formats and layers.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the data warehouse ecosystem helping implement robust solution designs.
- Support a workspace architecture strategy through design and implement of data warehouse and lakehouse solutions allowing data sharing between independent teams avoiding duplication, yet adhering to security and governance rules.
- Experience in designing and developing BI Solutions using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
- Deploy data integration solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, and delivery paving the road to PGIM Investments future state BI analytic solutions using Microsoft Azure services, Fabric infrastructure, and Power BI.
- Ensure teams follow best practices and standards for security, compliance, scalability, reliability, and performance.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related discipline.
- 3 years of experience in cloud computing with Microsoft Azure supporting migrations, integrations, and deployments.
- 3 years of experience Implementing Microsoft solutions, with demonstrated experience deploying client solutions.
- Must come to this position with superior communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Financial Services experience working with Mutual Fund, CEFs, ETFs, SMAs, and UCITS background preferred
