Full Visibility is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the development of an advanced visual analytic application for federal government agencies, focusing on delivering safe and secure IT solutions with full visibility into operations.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/SCI Eligibility Clearance
- At least eight (8+) years of experience providing data engineering or related work
- Knowledge of ETL processes utilizing Linux shell scripting, Perl, Python, and Apache Airflow
- Experience with AWS services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELB, EMR, KMS, SQS, SNS, and Systems Manager
- Experience in supporting, maintaining, and migrating JavaFX applications to modern cloud-native solutions
- Robust decision-making skills and domain knowledge
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or in lieu of degree, 4 additional years of experience
Responsibilities
- Engineering in support of an advanced visual analytic application that includes developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software
- Facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing
- Using open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies
- Establishing an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of structured and semi-structured data
- Designing strategies for enterprise database systems and setting standards for operations, programming, and security
- Designing and constructing large relational databases
- Integrating new systems with existing warehouse structure and refining system performance and functionality
