DAT is looking to solve the problem of predatory financial products in the $800B US freight market, specifically for small trucking businesses with tight margins, by building an intelligent fintech platform that operates with radical transparency and fairness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, or in a similar role with a focus on building data infrastructure for analytical or product purposes
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g. Snowflake), and data modeling concepts and tools (e.g. DBT)
- Proficiency in Python (or similar Object-Oriented Programming)
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and data ingestion processes
- Experience with implementing monitoring and alerting for data pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and their data services (e.g. S3, Lambda)
- Knowledge of stream processing frameworks (e.g. Kafka)
