SimpliSafe is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their Machine Learning Data team to develop data solutions that power the development of their current and next generation ML solutions for their camera platforms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years focused on data operations or data infrastructure
- Solid SQL knowledge and experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Interest in basic Deep Learning principles (training, evaluation, embeddings)
- Understanding of basic statistics
- Experience using Dagster to consolidate raw data into usable tables
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD tooling, and containers
Responsibilities
- Develop data-related infrastructure that supports ML and CV solution development using evolving technologies and platforms (such as Ray and Airflow)
- Support Product and Modeling teams with self-service data solutions
- Manage end-to-end annotation workflows (curation, annotation, correction, analysis)
- Design and support analytics/monitoring solutions related to ML data
- Affect team-wide initiatives involving software architecture, data processing, and best practices.
