Stryker is hiring a Senior Data Engineer, Quality for their Neurovascular division to play a key role in bringing life-saving products to the market. The role is responsible for managing product master data across core systems including PLM, SAP and Oracle ERPs, and the Global Item Master (GIM). The work will directly enable successful product launches and ensure data integrity across the organization.
Requirements
- Experience in master data management, Commercial business systems, or related data-focused roles
- Experience supporting systems setup for product launches.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP and Oracle).
- Working knowledge of business intelligence and analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and how to effectively utilize them within a business.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers to complete end-to-end system setup checklists for product launches, ensuring data accuracy, alignment, and readiness across SAP, Oracle, PLM, and Global Item Master (GIM).
- Create, update, and maintain master and transactional data across key systems, supporting product lifecycle activities including launches, changes, and obsolescence.
- Monitor data consistency across systems and ensure compliance with quality management procedures aligned with Divisional, Corporate, and Regulatory standards.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance data management processes, systems, tools, and training to improve efficiency and data quality.
- Maintain and improve internal documentation and procedures related to master data processes to support standardization and scalability.
- Use analytical thinking to identify trends, extract actionable insights, and recommend improvements that influence business and cross-functional decisions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, IT, and Project Managers to support data-related initiatives and ensure alignment.

- Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to Fremont, CA but is expected to be onsite at the facility multiple times/week.
- Minimum of 2+ years working in a regulated environment
- Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry
- Apply strong Excel proficiency, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality data outcomes.
