The partner company is looking to architect, build, and optimize high-performance cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to transform complex business requirements into scalable and secure architectures that support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and solution design.
  • Strong skills in data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing (BigQuery).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python (preferred), Java, or Scala.
  • Familiarity with Airflow, DBT, and version control tools such as Git.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years in cloud architecture or GCP-focused roles.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement end-to-end GCP-based solutions covering data, infrastructure, applications, and security.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize reliable ETL/ELT data pipelines using tools like Airflow, DBT, and Python/SQL.
  • Design and tune BigQuery schemas and queries to manage large, complex datasets efficiently.
  • Establish data quality, governance, and lineage tracking standards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor performance and optimize cost-effectiveness of cloud solutions.
  • Apply domain knowledge in e-commerce, retail, or CPG to design practical, high-impact solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide engineers to foster technical excellence and best practices.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Produce high-quality documentation including design documents, architecture diagrams, and best-practice guides.
  • Industry experience in e-commerce, retail, or CPG preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-impact environments and tackle complex technical challenges.
