The partner company is looking to architect, build, and optimize high-performance cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to transform complex business requirements into scalable and secure architectures that support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and solution design.
- Strong skills in data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing (BigQuery).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (preferred), Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with Airflow, DBT, and version control tools such as Git.
- 8+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years in cloud architecture or GCP-focused roles.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end GCP-based solutions covering data, infrastructure, applications, and security.
- Build, maintain, and optimize reliable ETL/ELT data pipelines using tools like Airflow, DBT, and Python/SQL.
- Design and tune BigQuery schemas and queries to manage large, complex datasets efficiently.
- Establish data quality, governance, and lineage tracking standards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor performance and optimize cost-effectiveness of cloud solutions.
- Apply domain knowledge in e-commerce, retail, or CPG to design practical, high-impact solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and guide engineers to foster technical excellence and best practices.
