CVS Health is looking to scale its data platform and ensure it can deliver on the data needs of the business by hiring a Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a data engineering team. The team is responsible for processing Claims, Revenue, and Medicare Specific files and data from 30+ payors into their Data Warehouse.
Requirements
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Big data frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
- Data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).
- Solid experience with SQL, Python, PySpark.
- Experience with real-time data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka).
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and reliable data pipelines and data warehouses.
- Drive best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
- Oversee the implementation of new data technologies and architectures
- Ensure the data platform meets our standards for performance, security, and data quality.
- Establish and maintain a culture of operational excellence, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Manage and optimize data infrastructure costs.
