Atlassian needs a senior data engineering manager to lead a team focused on designing, building, and scaling foundational analytical data products that power decision-making across the company, addressing the challenge of ingesting billions of events monthly and supporting dozens of teams' data-driven decisions.
Requirements
- Industry experience working with large-scale, high-performance data processing systems (batch and streaming) with a "Streaming First" mindset
- Experience working with public cloud offerings such as Amazon Web Services, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, S3, Databricks, Spark/Spark-Streaming, and Databricks.
- Experience with at least one high-level programming language, such as Python
- Understanding and experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Basic understanding of Experimentation.
