Requirements
- Advanced in Python/R and SQL
- Expertise in applying statistical techniques to real-world business problems
- Experience deploying impactful code to production environments
- Experience with search, display, performance, and/or direct marketing (preferred)
- Experience with Airflow (preferred)
- Experience with R Shiny and Shiny Server (preferred)
- Experience with Perl (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical expertise to cross-functional projects
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance the platform's analytical capabilities
- Develop templates, tools, and dashboards to boost team efficiency and analysis effectiveness
- Design and integrate sophisticated algorithms and features
- Streamline reporting for key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Deliver actionable insights to support business units
- Master the MediaAlpha platform's tools and data
Other
- 6+ years of work experience in a Data Analyst/Scientist or related role
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and working collaboratively with tech/engineering teams
- Demonstrated success in training and mentoring analysts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative on all projects
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a quantitative discipline
- Hybrid schedule: in-office Tuesdays/Wednesdays
