RVO Health is looking to improve its recommendation systems to enhance user experiences and drive business growth.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling
• Experience with recommender systems, NLP, deep learning, or graph theory applications
• Proficiency in collecting and mining data from disparate data sources
• Ability to work with unstructured and evolving data
• Experience with agile project management methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy robust recommendation models using machine learning and predictive analytics
• Continuously improve existing models by incorporating new data, refining algorithms, or utilizing innovative data science techniques
• Communicate complex data science concepts and model outcomes to non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with other data scientists, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Collect and mine data from disparate data sources to inform model development
• Translate business opportunities into data science problems and define project scope and performance metrics

Other

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to prioritize, execute, and deliver projects on time
• Comfortable working onsite in Charlotte or Minneapolis twice a week
• Committed team player who is proactive and takes ownership over project success
• Must be comfortable with unstructured, fast-moving, and constantly evolving high-growth environment
