Requirements
- Experience in R or Python (Python preferred)
- Experience in statistical packages for R or Python (e.g., Pandas, Seaborn)
- Experience in Machine Learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, Keras/Tensorflow, PyTorch)
- Experience with time series forecasting models (e.g., AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average, Temporal Convolutional Networks, Long Short-Term Memory Recurrent Neural Networks)
- Experience using statistical analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, R, SAS, Python, etc
- Experience with standard model development workflows (e.g, MLFlow)
- Coding experience with C, Visual Basic .NET, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS and DevExpress is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the collection and definition of requirements for new advanced analytics related projects
- Work with business SMEs to identify opportunities to leverage advanced Analytics, leveraging Computational Statistics, Machine Learning, and other Advanced Analytic processes
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and deliver actionable recommendations based on the findings
- Work closely with planning, Ops, and MFG teams to increase Supply, Inventory, Operational, and Production based forecasts.
- Automate other manual forecasting processes.
- Plan, execute, maintain and successfully deliver on assigned projects
Other
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Machine Learning, Analytics, Data Science, Technical Computer Science, or another mathematically intensive field OR a Master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or another related field.
- 2+ Years working as a Data Scientist utilizing advanced analytics tools and solutions
- Ability to make visualizations and tools to help others comprehend difficult topics
