AMD is seeking a Data Scientist to leverage expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning to drive insights and support strategic decision-making, enhancing product offerings and operational efficiencies through data-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python, or similar languages, with a focus on data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or AG Charts
- Proficiency in Mongo, SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Snowflake.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a preference for AMD's cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights that drive AMD's business and operations strategies.
- Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to optimize product performance and customer experience.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

- Communicate complex data findings to stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations and presentations.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data science AI & ML learning to continuously improve AMD's capabilities.
- Work with IT and engineering teams to deploy models into production environments, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
