Aspire General Insurance Company needs to transform data into actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making, uncover trends, evaluate program outcomes, and support predictive modeling efforts in areas such as pricing, claims forecasting, and customer segmentation.

Requirements

  • Expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
  • Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and producing repeatable, production-ready analyses.
  • Strong command of tools such as Python, R, SQL, and modern data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proven ability to communicate complex analytics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Databricks) is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Solid understanding of Actuarial concepts, up to exam 5 concepts, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities across business functions.
  • Conduct exploratory and ad hoc analyses to answer key business questions and inform strategic initiatives.
  • Support the development of predictive models (e.g., pricing, claims forecasting, fraud detection, customer segmentation).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics and build intuitive visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to evaluate program outcomes and A/B test results.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in underwriting, product, and marketing to scope and execute analytical projects.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Economics, Computer Science); master’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Experience working with insurance data (e.g., policy, claims, rating, or telematics) is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience in the auto insurance industry is preferred.
  • Ability to develop excellent working relationships with Staff, Clients, and Company Partners.
